RESCISSION OF PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE
Residents of Timber Ln, between Pawnee Dr and Panhandle Trail
The 05/21/2020 "PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE" is hereby rescinded following the satisfactory completion of the bacteriological survey showing that the water is safe to drink.
If you have any questions you may contact Holley Navarre Water System, Inc. at 850-939-2427
Holley Navarre Water System has issued a Precautionary Boil Water notice for the residents of Timber Ln, between Pawnee Dr and Panhandle Trail. This notice is in response to a 2” line break that occurred at 1:30pm on Thursday, May 21, 2020.
As a precaution, residents and businesses who were without water are being advised that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of at least one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.
This “PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE” will remain in effect until a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink. This process routinely takes 48 hours. Precautionary Boil Water Notices are issued as a part of standard protocol following any loss of water pressure, whether as a result of planned maintenance activities or unscheduled repairs.
HNWS crews completed the repairs at 2:45pm. Residents are advised that there is a possibility of discolored water as a result of the outage, and to flush their home’s plumbing by running their taps for a few minutes.
